Thank You Nicole!

Thank you Nicole for sharing your experiences working for the United Nations with us. Your stories and photographs will forever be imprinted in my memory (and I'm sure the memories of all the students). Your work with refugees is inspiration to all of us that we can indeed make a mark - and work toward making the world a better place!

2nd Period Civics: Don't forget to comment on one of two websites I asked you to visit. In your comment, relate what you've learned from the website to what you learned from our guest speaker, Nicole Brudos. You may post your comment here or on the Sierra Leone post.

i thought the presentation was really good because the way she described alot of things in detail and gave us a sheet the showed what she asked a woman what happened and how everything was when her village was attacked and what happened to her
HEY I COULDNT GET THE MOVIES TO WORK SO I THINK IT WAS A VERY GREAT PRESENTATION. I REALLY LIKED THE SLID SHOW THING AND I THINK TIS REALLY COOL HOW SHE HAD ANGELINA JOLEE'S ROOM. I LIKED HOW SHE TOLD THE STORY OF HOW SOEM PEOPLE WERE BEATEN AND TORCHERED. I ALSO THOUGHT IT WAS COOL HOW SHE LIKE FIT IN SOW ELL AND HOW THAT DUDE SAVED THE KID WHO WAS LIEK DROWNING AND FLOOTIGN DOWN RIVER.
