And it's very inexpensive. And for PPD, to me one of the best forms of treatment is just someone to talk to that will keep you in check and give you a break from your kids. Also trying to get into a routine and get things back to normal as soon as possible can be an intense therapy and treatment for PPD.kait08https://www.blogger.com/profile/00894747512935467247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2401445845131091225.post-31824655944522299582008-03-10T10:37:00.000-05:002008-03-10T10:37:00.000-05:00To prevent P.P.D. mothers should get plenty of sle...To prevent P.P.D. mothers should get plenty of sleep, eat a healthy balanced diet, go through therapy, and use antidepressants. If you had this problem previously with your first born child and are expecting again you should have it on your mind that it’s a very big possibility for your second child effect you the same way. I would also go outside and run or maybe go for a drive or work out. I would try to stay busy to keep my mind off of the winter season.
To treat PPD, a new or expecting mother should talk to other moms who have already had kids on how they kept themselves from feeling the effects of PPD. They should also get plenty of rest (if thats possible with a newborn child), and try to stay on a healthy meal plan. If they do experience PPD, they should talk to family and friends to help them get through it. There is also medication you can take if the mother feels like nothing else is working.noblehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02579001739227599643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2401445845131091225.post-16249142288386933612008-03-10T10:24:00.000-05:002008-03-10T10:24:00.000-05:00Going outside and exercising, doing things like pl...Going outside and exercising, doing things like playing basketball in the park with friends. Counseling and medication can also help a lot if the mother doesn't think that anything else is working.
To treat SAD, the best thing to do is exercise, because it just makes you feel better generally, and if you exercise in the sun, you get endorphins and time in the sun, which will make you happier. If you have SAD, you should also let as much light into your house as possible. It's also a good idea to keep socializing with your friend and family, because when you're depressed, you need as much uplifting as you can get. The website also suggested taking a vacation, but I think that a lot of people that have SAD probably don't have the time or the money to do that.ckupsh3https://www.blogger.com/profile/12739148279049953691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2401445845131091225.post-43929901535779279262008-03-03T12:01:00.000-06:002008-03-03T12:01:00.000-06:00Being outside and doing things that make yourself ...Being outside and doing things that make yourself feel good and happy are great things to do durring this time of year.
