I couldn't resist this story!

As I searched NPR for more project ideas to include on the blog, I stopped in my tracks when I saw the word "Nirvana." Hey, I admit, I can't get past the early 90s! Anyway, if you need a break, you might enjoy this story.

i really enjoyed seeing nirvana on your blog because i actually listen to them...and the cover on their album with spencer elden was kind of a controversial cover because of the image. but i think that it was brave of them to do...i am very facsinated with nirvana their music just draws you in, unlike many of todays music like britney spears and pop crap that is shoved out by the industry, and nirvana just went out and made their own music with their own feelings and their own "funk" and i just wish their were more bands like nirvana nad less like britney spears and the industries "vomit"
jaleesawh- I HEAR YOU!!! As a GenXer, I'm a little biased I'm sure...Anyway, I long for the politically and socially conscious music of the early 90s. Yes, not all music today is frivolous drivel...you can find good stuff every once in a while...often it is kids who turn me on to something good today. I'll get off my soapbox now and read your other comments!
